3 5/8” s.e. blade chiseled with addorsed crescents. The base with lined bronze plates as on the flyssa. Two-piece scale grips of hard leather (?) secured with white metal rivets and inlaid with brass band scrolls as seen on nimchas. Leather scabbard with transverse bands and central spine finely worked in the best Tuareg. Tradition. Expected aging with darkening to the decoration and light gray patina to the blade. Made for formal dress in traditional costume, but completely functional and lethal.
